Tony Delivers at Magic Millions: Trapeze Artist x Chateau Griffo Colt

Trapeze Artist x Chateau Griffo

Edgar Park Livestock is proud to share the sale of “Tony”, our Trapeze Artist x Chateau Griffo colt sold as Lot 161 at the 2026 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale, where he was knocked down for $140,000.

This one is especially rewarding for our team because Tony was bred and raised at Edgar Park, before heading to Silverdale Farm to be prepared and presented for the Gold Coast sale.

Tony was a standout type all week. He consistently attracted attention through inspections and on sale day thanks to his balance, presence, and the kind of athletic movement buyers look for at Magic Millions.

He’s by Trapeze Artist, one of Australia’s most exciting young stallions, and out of Chateau Griffo, a mare we’ve always held in high regard. The result is a colt with a strong commercial profile and plenty of upside as he progresses into training.

A big thank you to Silverdale Farm for producing Tony in such top order. Sale preparation is where good horses are made to look their absolute best, and the Silverdale team did an outstanding job having him peak at exactly the right time.

Congratulations to Proven Thoroughbreds / Kerry Parker Racing on securing Tony. Proven Thoroughbreds have a strong record of identifying horses with genuine upside, and Tony is now with a stable that knows how to develop a colt properly.

We’re excited to follow his journey from here and wish his new connections every success as he heads toward the stable and, in time, the racetrack.

Breeding and raising a horse from the ground up is a long game. Results like this are a reminder of why we do it, and a credit to the people behind the scenes who put in the daily work, season after season.

Tony is a colt we’ve loved from early on, and we’re thrilled to see him rewarded in the ring and placed with a team that can give him every chance.
